Treat your little one to a sweet and soothing dish—tender stewed pear gently mixed with fluffy couscous and creamy natural yoghurt. Ideal for 6‑12 months, it’s simple to whip up and full of comforting flavour for baby’s next tasty adventure.

Ingredients

1 small (180g) pear, peeled and finely chopped

1 tbsp couscous

1½ tbsp boiling water

¼ cup (70g) plain natural yoghurt

Step by step

  • Stewed Pear, Couscous and Yoghurt

    1. Place pear in a small saucepan; cover with water; bring to the boil, then simmer just until pear is tender, about 8 minutes; drain.

    2. Place couscous in a small heatproof bowl; pour over boiling water; cover and stand for about 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork; mix with pear and yoghurt.
